Yep gotta respect the fine print. Not to be used with any other discounts.

Disney never allows stacking of discounts. Can you imagine a family of four at a Value trying to use free dining, stay four nights get three nights free, using the kids stay free promo, and trying to use an AP to get a % off the room. Disney would wind up paying them to come down there.:rotfl:

Read this made me giggle and chuckle this morning. Thanks!

Thanks for giving me my morning chuckle. That is a great analogy.

Sometimes over on the discount board, people complain about how people from the UK can stack some discounts, but they are reminded people from overseas often stay 14 days, so they are spending a lot of money already.

Also, UK bookings are often package based, so many people are getting hotel/tickets/dining/flights/etc together. And it's almost always non-refundable, once you're booked you're locked in.

Yeah I didn't think about that Andre. So if someone from the UK booked a RGR room, and since they aren't ready what could they do for them?

How do bounce backs work? And when do you get them? We are staying Cash right now for the first time (Nomally DVC points) and I was sort of looking forward to possibly getting a bounce back?

There will normally be a flyer lying on the table in your room. They will say something like: 'Pick a Date Before it's Too Late! Save up to 40% on your next Disney resort stay, if you book before you check out.' However, sometimes people take them home and mousekeeping forgets to replace them. If you want to book a bounceback and you don't see a flyer in your room, just call Ext 8844 from your room phone or 407-541-5514 anytime before you check out. Bouncebacks must be booked on or prior to your check out date. The CM does check to verify that you are a current resort guest. The flyer will have the dates available under the current bounceback, but be prepared when you call for back up dates and/or a backup resort as your preferred resorts may not be available for the dates you want. I know I booked three bounceback deals for 2012 when I was there this past Nov/Dec. I had to change resorts for my May trip, had to change both dates and resort for my Sept trip, and had to change dates for my Oct trip. If you book room only, you must pay a one night deposit for each bounceback and if you book a pkg, then you must pay a $200.00 deposit on each one you book, but you can book as many as you want.

Can't wait! Only one more week and we check into POR (first time staying here).
Hoping for a refurbished AB room - but of course we will be thrilled with whatever :)

The earlier you check in during the day the better. But at the time of check in you can ask them and if your not you can request one. If it is available they will help you out for sure.

Have a great time.

When we were there last June(2011) we wanted to book a bounceback for June 2013 and were told we must book for sometime in 2012. Bummer!

It should be added many times you won't see the flyer for the BB deal in your room. People grab them w/o reading the fine print. Then they get them home and realize you had to book it while you were there.

I am sure it happens quite a lot. We were in connecting rooms this past year and neither room had the flyer. We requested one and my traveling companions made their reservations for their next trip already - funny, this was their first trip.

I hooked another one!

 ooohhhhh this is awesome! We already decided to come back next year! Seriously y'all are awesome with all these tips & ideas :worship:

Are you staying at the POLY or POR I saw the ticker and was wondering.

Well...we originally were booked at CL at the POLY with a 30% off room rate.
We stayed there in May 2010 with a 40% off room rate and LOVED IT.
However, the little ones want to do Discovery Cove as they have never done it, and the older ones have. So, then we decided to go to POR where we stayed years ago. Saved $$$ to then do DC.
And now that I hear the slide will be closed at the POLY when we are there, it works out great.:thumbsup2
Being Canadian we will swim in anything over 50 degrees:rotfl:

You will LOVE the POLY!

OK, DH was on the phone today and the CM told him the POR rooms for 5 no longer use a trundle bed but have a chair bed. Is that true?

Nope. Not true. The AB rooms that sleep 5 at POR
are a Murphy bed. Check my trip report for a link
to my YouTube channel. There is a video of the new
Murphy bed.

Ohhh thank you, I had a good morning chuckle with the last statement. Supposingly the slide will be back open while we are there if not before we show up. But your plan makes great sense.

You gotta love it, where on the Disboards, we are more informed than the CM's employed by Disney.

The "chair" beds are going to be in AoA when they open.
