Port Orleans--french Quarters

Does anyone have any information on Port Orleans French Quarters? If memory serves me right, it will soon be closed almost a year.

Wondering what is the status of this hotel.

I posted this in another thread but it works here too -

I called yesterday and spoke with a CM from PO and they informed me that it may be open sometime in May although they haven't said anything officially yet. I asked what my chances were of getting into POFQ in July and she told me that I had a good chance of that. However, now my sister wants to go in March now so I won't get to stay there this year. Now I have to do some speedy planning for March -

OMG really?!!!

Yes!! My fiance and I stayed at POR in August and we both were very interested in the FQ for our honeymoon in June.

This changes everything for me! Now if we can just get a good code for that period I'll be reeling from the magic.
