Port Orleans French Quarters is open!

I just got off the phone with CRO and the CM stated PO is now open. I'm hoping she is correct. You know all CM's don't have the same info. Can anyone else confirm this???

I was told that POFQ wasn't opening until October. But how great if it was open now!

I read today that PO Riverside has now opened all of their buildings.

No news on PO French Quarter yet.

We were at PO Riverside 2 weeks ago and PO French Quarters was completely closed. I really don't think they would have it up and running in such a short amount of time. Also from what I've been reading on these boards, crowds don't warrant them opening it right now. ~~

I just tried to book online at WDW's websight and the server would not accept any dates before October. But it will book October on....

We called today about some dates in Sept. and asked about Port Orleans. CRO said it was still closed.

BTW, we still call them Port Orleans and Dixie Landings.

I'm at Riverside now. French Quarter is closed. CM's here have not heard of an opening date.

I booked POFQ yesterday for Nov 9-16, so it'll be open by then!
