Port Orleans French Quarter??

I'm planning our trip to WDW and am leaning towards the French Quarter as it seems a smaller and quieter resort than some of the others. Has anyone been and can tell me what it's like and also what building to stay in?? I've heard that building 5 is the best to stay in. Is this right??

We stayed there over Christmas/New Year 1997. It is one of their more attractive resorts and you're right it is quieter, with a nice pool area. Because it shared transport with the (then) Dixie Landings, the bus journeys to the parks were often long but we felt it was a lovely resort and we were very glad to have chosen it. I'm sorry I can't remember which building we were in but being a small resort it really didn't matter.
