Port Orleans French Quarter - mid-November

Hey guys - a newbie here. My wife and I are heading down to WDW in mid-November and will be at Port Orleans - French Quarter Resorts.

Can anyone giv eme some tips about where the best building to stay in, dining tips and overall transportation tips?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Our family loves POFQ. We will be there for our next vacation starting 12/1.

The buses are shared with POR, but FQ gets picked up and dropped off first. Getting a seat usually isn't a problem.

The food court has lots of choices. You get the food and pay on the way out. Different windows have different selections.

We like building 5 since it is near to the pool and food court. It really depends on what you are looking for in a room. Before our kids we didn't like to be so close to the pool, we wanted it more quiet! Try to get a map and look at the buildings.

The resort is small so everything is close and it has a really charming feel to it. It is beautiful at night with all of the gas lamps.
