4. First bus stop, even though it shares buses with PORS, so you usually get a seat in the mornings

I was there this weekend & POFQ has their own bus. We never shared with PORS. Even heading back to the resort from MK, we had our own line (line six) & our own bus. The driver said they don't share with RS anymore.

Great pic...so it's the iced tea that has a variety. Very nice! Are the teas also part of the refillable mug selection? Any special variety of hot tea?

Yes, the special iced tea is allowed for the refillable mugs, basically everything at the beverage station is allowed. As far as the hot teas go, I believe they have the usual selection (Orange Pekoe, Earl Grey, English Breakfast, etc.) I remember there being a limited selection of different teas last year. If you take milk in your tea, you have to ask a CM for it as there's no milk available at the beverage station.

Thanks for the info! I'm also a MrsB, from Ontario and drink tea...I'm guessing we will have 'loving POFQ' also in common after our trip this fall. Can't wait!

Even though I did not ask the question, THANK YOU for this information. I can not drink most soda or lemonade so those items are worthless for me. However, I can live on iced and hot tea so I am super excited to know those options are there.

Do you order right from the touch screens, or is that just how the menu is displayed?

We have special dietary stuff - would we just always have to order from a person and not the screen?

They don't have touch screen ordering at POFQ, at least they didn't last year. There's menu boards at each section that list the choices and have rotating pictures of the menu items. If you have special dietary restrictions, you'll need to speak to a CM about it. Hope that helps!

We're wanting to hit rope drop at the parks when we go. Would it be better to chance it with the busses or drive ourselves? I'm leaning strongly toward the latter, but wanted to get some experienced feedback.

We've never had a problem getting to rope drop using the buses at PO
FQ.

It depends on where you're going. We wanted to do rope drop at Typhoon Lagoon. Instead, the bus came to POFQ at 10:00am (opening time for TL) to pick up TL and DTD passengers. So we got there around 10:30am instead and power walked through the crowds to try to beat the lines.

Awesome thread! My family always stayed value but about 3 weeks before our trip we got a PIN and we were able to upgrade a night to POFQ for almost nothing! That was an awesome night, POFQ is so beautiful. The boat to DTD was incredibly peaceful. We loved it so much that we're booking 2 nights there on our next night before we switch over to POP. It's really quiet and we can't help but love those beignets!

When we stayed we drove ourselves to the park, didn't have a problem.

We always try and hit rope drops, POFQ bus system was very reliable and when we were there, we never stopped at Riverside at all, which was great !!
