40 days until I check in at POFQ.

Celebrating my DDs graduation from HS and her 18th birthday, any suggestions to help us celebrate?

Have your celebrations noted on your resort reservations, on all your TS ADR's, and you can call the Disney Florist or check out their web-site www.disneyflorist.com for a special item to be delivered to your resort (maybe placed in the room - unsure of POFQ's policies). :goodvibes

Have fun !

We'll be there in just a few days!!!

I thought of something else that I don't remember reading, although I'm sure it's been asked before ;)

Are their lifevests for the kids at the pool? At the POP there was a bin that contained all the vests and you got one from there. Is it the same at POFQ?

Thanks in advance,
Heather

We are arriving next Saturday too!!!!

Wow you are both making me envious - we are still in triple digits. Love this thread though, it helps the days go by faster reading about other guests experiences.

Have a great vacation!

you 'borrow' the vests from the gift shop. you basically sign them out and tell them when you will be leaving and returning the vest. so you can keep it in your room for the whole trip.

Going to POFQ in November for the first time. Sooooo excited! We have two early morning ressies (Crystal Palace at 8:05 and Tusker House @ 8:00 I think), both on days without EMH. Will the buses be running early enough to get us there? I have seen advice about taking a cab but I would rather not do that, plus, I don't know how that works with little ones and car seats??? Really hoping to take the bus....TIA for any thoughts!

I'm just jumping in here to do this-

I have no questions, concerns, or anything, just celebrating I won the resort debate with my sweet sweet husband who was easily persuaded with batted eyelashes and promises of brownies... :cool2:

Also, this smilie, because I think he's cute :yay:

When we had breakfast at Crystal Palace and Tusker House, we were directed to arrive a half hour prior to the reservation time. Both parks opened after that check in time. We walked into the parks before rope drop. We took pictures in front of the castle with no one else in the back ground! Breakfast was over after the rope drop occurred. Buses run early enough to bring the masses to the breakfast reservations. I like to call concierge and confirm transport and first bus times. Our family only used Disney provided transportation.

From what I can recall, busses start one hour prior to the earliest breakfast ADR? I know we had an 8:05 at CP and it wasn't a MK EMH (so they opened at 9:00.) We got on the bus at AKL around 7:10 and another bus had just left prior to our arrival at the bus stop. We were at the MK by 7:25 and were let into the MK around 7:45. We took a few pictures, but checked in at the CP podium around 8:50 (so we were on time) and then went and took a few more pics. Make sure you're there by 8:00 because they do a cute opening! Oh, and Pooh's Toast is ---YUMMMMMM!!!!!

We've done the Donald's Safari Breakfast too, but I don't remember the details as well, sorry!

We will be at POR in the Bayou rooms..This is our all time favorite resort. When we had shared buses with POFQ there never seemed to be an issue, but then again we almost always go the last week of August during low season.
Pixie dust to all.:cool1:

You might like to check out the POR thread, this one's devoted to POFQ. :)

Pixie dust to you, too! :tink:

How does this work? Is this something that has to be booked ahead? Where exactly do you go to do this? Thanks you!

Does anyone know if there is a drying line over the bath at POFQ and if so does it have any pegs to hang the clothes up with, or should i bring a few of my own.
thanks

Joining the POFQ club, now. :thumbsup2

I have been to POR, but never even walked over to the FQ side. :confused3
We are surprising my turning 6 DD for her birthday.

After reading through some of this thread, I am now looking forward to staying there. Thanks to all who give advice and input!
