Hi! Sorry it took eons for me to get back to you, but you know how it is-once you return home, life takes back over.

When I was there this was the starter pin offer:

I got the blue and green bag and I really like it-it will be making future trips to WDW! Have fun!

Thank you! I'd heard conflicting reports on the fact that you have to spend $40 to get them. I can't imagine that would be too difficult... ;)

Where can I find photos of the new renovated rooms? I looked some on the POFQ photos thread and in this one and haven't found them yet but I didn't go through every page.

Is it better to stay in value resort or moderate? do you get better deals is you stay in moderate? for instant free dining or 40% off rooms. THis is our 1st trip. we are staying dec.30-jan 5th

Photos of the new rooms are in the previous FAQ thread, I'll dig them out and post copies into the starter messages of this thread tomorrow. Sorry, meant to do that before now.

Hi! Page 35 of this thread, post 517-I have renovated room pics from my recent trip in late March. The renovated rooms are really lovely!

only 25 more days till Tigger's Ally and Tink0812 hit the world :cool1: Looking forward to POFQ and Ragland Road! :thumbsup2

So I was looking at the renovated room photos and the rooms look sort of dark? We are so used to the bright colors at CBR. For those that have stayed there, how dark did the rooms seem to you?

We just got back and not dark AT ALL. We were in the 400 rooms and never had that problem. There's a very "mardi gras" theme to the rooms and we all loved it.

Yesterday I learned that this hotel has been refurbed to have queen sized beds. I read this entire thread yesterday, and last night DH and I decided we're staying here for our April 2012 trip. Subscribing! This resort sounds absolutely WONDERFUL. We were going to do a family suite at AS but I will definitely trade the bigger room for the smaller, more beautiful resort and the extra $ we're going to save will go towards some really fun "extras".

Yay!

Lord willing, we will be there in April 2012 also (thinking 16 - 27 at this time).

We got back Tuesday and loved the resort. The bus service was excellent and we only stopped at Riverside once during our stay. We were in building 2 and got our requested ground floor. We also got a courtyard view, which was very nice. My 4 year old loved the slide and would have been happy if we would have had more time at the resort.

The new rooms were gorgeous, but I have nothing to compare them too. Mousekeeping was good and we did get one set of very cute towel animals (which we did not steal). It was a quick walk to everything and perfect for our little family. We will definitely be back.

The food at the food court was somewhat limited, but we did eat there a few times. The beignets and cupcakes were very yummy. We road the boat to DTD one night and it was beautiful and relaxing. DD was entralled by the lizards, ducks and rabbits she saw around the resort.

Sounds like we were right down the walkway from each other. We were there April 29th-May 8th in building 2. We also had a first floor room with courtyard view. We were right across from the fountain (could see it from our window) in room 2114. We didn't like the hard bed, but absolutely loved our location. We got three towel animals (a Mickey mouse head on the bed the day we arrived, a teddy bear, and a rabbit). We too left them.
