Anyone know the best way to get from POFQ to Pioneer Hall?

I'm thinking...

Go to Epcot then take the SETTLEMENT bus to Hoop Dee Doo, but I don't know if that bus still runs....

Also... since I've never stayed at POFQ I don't know the best way to get to Epcot...

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance...
Wendy

The only way directly to Epcot from POFQ will be the resort bus. To get to HDDR you'll need to go from POFQ to the park of your choice (I don't know which is closest) or to DTD, then catch the bus to FW, then take the internal FW bus to Pioneer Hall. You also can take a boat to DTD from POFQ, then catch the bus. Or, if you go to MK, you can take the boat to FW and it's just a short walk from the landing to Pioneer Hall.

It can be trickier to get back if you'll be leaving after the parks close or the boats stop running. Then, your best bet is to take the internal FW bus to where you can grab a bus to DTD and transfer to a POFQ bus.

When I did HDDR (going from POR) I caught a bus from POR to MK. Got the boat to HDDR. When coming out of HDDR @ 9:30 they had busses to the right doing directly back to POR. It went very smoothly.:D

That's a good point. I've heard from others that there sometimes are busses going directly to various resorts from HDDR. That wasn't the case when we were there last November, however, so I don't know if there's anyway to predict when they'll be offering that service and when they don't. If I had to guess, I'd guess that they offer the direct buses for late shows during busier seasons, but that's only a SWAG. Does anyone else know?

Hi,

We stopped at POFQ in June, we took a cab from the hotel there and back, cost was approx $12 each way and saved alot of bus or boat connections, I would recommend.

I just wanted to add that the busses were available from HDDR at 9:30, was during our trip in March, just as the parks were opening later. It was also very dark, so there were no boats running...perhaps that had something to do with it. The service desk at the hotel told me about it before I left for HDDR. :D
