Our family loves POR but now that we own DVC, we haven't stayed there in a couple of years ( yeah, I know, poor us!!!) We will be staying in a moderate for 3 nights before our DVC stay this summer and are considering POFQ, mainly for the DDE discount at the food court ( it will be considerable, since it is myself and 3 teens and we will eat all 3 meals at the resort) I was thinking of requesting a room closest to POR so it would be an easier walk to pool hop, rent boats etc. What building would I request and how far do you think the walks would then be to the main pools at FQ and Riverside???

Building 7 in the North Quarter would put you closest to POR, building 6 would be the next best choice. If you left building 7 and followed the Sassagoula River, it would take you less than 10mins to walk to the POR main building. It is probably the building furthest away from the FQ pool, but FQ isn't all that big so it shouldn't be a big deal.
