Port Orleans Boat ?

I was reading on another thread about a guest experience. The poster stated they got on at POFQ and were headed to DTD but stopped at POR. They were then told to get off the boat and get back in line for DTD boat. I thought the boats did a round trip and you could get on and ride without interruption. Or did this person get an over zealous captain. I hope I am making sense. Just need a little clarification. Thanks.

I have been to POR many times and the boat goes DTD-POFQ-POR and reverse on way back... when you get on at FQ make sure the boat is heading to DTD or POR if you go to POR you will be expected to exit the boat and get back in line... hope this answers your question... at POR they always try to leave enough room for some or all of the people at FQ... the boat captian usually says going to POR or DTD.....

Thanks bbrnca! I am staying at POR so I should not have a problem. sounds like that guest got on the wrong boat. Thanks for your help. I am getting so excited about POR. Never stayed here before!

That is exactly what happened. Your friend didn't get on a boat to DTD, they got on the boat to POR. Many have made that mistake.
