Two of the things I was looking forward to on our 11/30 cruise was Konk Koolers and Bahama Mamas. While at PO, DH & I went to the pool bar for a drink. I asked the bartender if he knew how to make a Konk Kooler. Bartender said he wasnt sure of the ingredients. DH told him "just say yes, she doesnt know what's in them anyways" So of course made "something"
Towards the end of the trip, DH & I were at a different PO bar. We were talking to another couple and they were having a red drink. The bartender heard me say that I was looking forward to having a Bahama Mama. So he made me a green drink (Christmas colors) and called it a Bahama Mama.
Neither time did I have any idea what I was actually drinking - lol!

Bahama Mama: equal parts of light and dark rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, and a splash of grenadine.

I used to make gallons of the stuff at a water side bar and restaurant.

I have no idea about Conch Cooler but I know they had them at Old Key West pool side bar.....they were great!!!
