Port or Starboard in the Med

Okay, thought I was being smart, but now, as usual, I'm second guessing myself.
I looked at the itineraries for the Med cruises in June. It looked liked as the ship sails, port side will be facing the land more than the starboard side. We booked a veranda so we could enjoy the land as it goes by.
Now, I'm wondering about when the ship docks. We went to the Med in 2013, so it has been awhile. Anyone know which side of the ship docks at which port?

For the majority of the time, your going to be too far from land to see it when your sailing.
As for the ports, I did a whole med season and we docked both ways in all the ports throughout the season, and we didn't know in advance which way we were going in. Ports like Livorno and Civi are more industrial and there's not a lot to look at. Tender ports you could possibly face all directions throughout the day depending on the weather and tides and all that jazz.

This. I did a 12-night Med cruise on RCCL and the only times we could really see land while sailing was going around the tip of Italy and shortly thereafter. The rest of the time we were not close to the coast. I think Concordia changed a lot besides just requiring Muster before sailing - like ships not really being allowed to hug the coast as much.
