I'm renting a car one way (I'm 26, despite what my tag says) after my podcast cruise. I'm driving from the Budget terminal (as they have a free shuttle) to DTD, and then from DTD to MCO. I'll have my phone w/GPS on me, but are there any tricks I should know? I think there are tolls, should I bring my Fast Lane transponder or just bring the cash? Any routes I should avoid?

Well....time is passing us by, isn't it??? I actually remember when you were 22!!! It's a very easy drive. I think there may be tolls, but I just can't remember at the moment. I do know that when I drove it, I had absololutely no problems. As long as you have your gps with you, it shouldn't be hard to find DTD...signage is very good when you're driving around WDW to boot.

Are you spending any time at WDW before the cruise?

Thanks for the info! I'll be at WDW on the 10th (going to MVMCP) and 11th. You?

6th through the 13th...again joining up with Karen. Wish I was cruising but since I'm on the Dream in April, I couldn't justify two cruises.
