Has anyone stayed at Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral

Looking for hotel recommendations near Port Canaveral. Would like a hotel with a nice outdoor area / pool.

We've stayed at the Homewood Suites and the Residence Inn. Both are good. I think i like the pool at the Homewood Suites slightly better, because of the walk in area to the pool (my mother has some mobility issues).

Next time, we're trying the Hilton Garden Inn in Cocoa Beach because I'd like to be closer to things to do that first night, rather than driving back and forth. Also, there's no reason to be right at the port, because we have to go to the car return place anyway - and that's back toward town. If you're getting the hotel shuttle to the port though, I'd stick with either the Homewood Suites or the Residence Inn.

Great question! I am looking for a PC hotel, too! I am hoping to find somewhere I can see the ship sail in from our hotel room.

check tripadvisor photos and reviews.. we've stayed radisson. nice pool..but on weekends they let locals in to drink and hang at pool. The holiday inn near publix..be aware..the pool is in an odd square stone wall enclosure..mostly shaded.

i would look at Best Western by cocoa beach..nice beach to walk to!

Our absolute FAVORITE, and I mean SO much of a favorite that my family would stay even without a cruise booked is the Courtyard by Marriott in Titusville, right by Kennedy Space Center. I cannot say enough good things, and you are 20 minutes to the port. It’s relatively new, a fantastic pool area, wonderful food, and space themed rooms that are huge and clean! We have been fortunate enough now to see three rocket launches from this hotel before our cruise. Take my advice, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!

We have stayed at the Hampton by the port as well, that one was fine but in no way compared to this!!
