Port Arrival Time

I am a little confused about our port arrival time. I thought that was the time we arrived at the port, and could get tested. But the email we received today states: "When you arrive at your designated port arrival time, you will simply present the same documents you submitted during Online Check-In for a quick check. Once your boarding number is called, you will present your Port Arrival Form to board the ship."

Where does testing ft in with this? Should we arrive earlier to be tested? I assumed the port arrival time was when you arrived and get tested.
We are in boarding group 2, with a boarding time of 10:30-10:45. Should we try and arrive at 9:30 for testing?

You will arrive at your port arrival time, so between 10:30-10:45. That's literally your arrival time at the port. Don't arrive earlier or you will have to wait outside. You show them your boarding pass with the time on it. After you arrive, you'll go right to testing. After testing is security and then you will wait 30-60 minutes. After that you will check in, again providing your boarding pass and passports and then you will get on the ship. Thank you! I have been reading your report but didn't even think about it when I got the email today. Thanks for the clarification. I'm just as glad.......I am glad for the extra time Friday morning!

Concur with the above based on 11/27 Magic out of MIA. Those whose time hadn't passed got to sit outside the cruise terminal until it had. Multiple staff blockading the entrance and checking the times on the QR codes. Even once a block of times opened up, they controlled the rate at which they let people through the metal detectors, in order to keep the hallway to testing from getting to crowded, and then the testing area itself, which extended the line outside at times. It was never just open season continuous flow of people at least for the morning hours.
