Port Arrival Time Selection

Checked in last night for Port Everglades as Gold. We got 11:45AM and BG 7 for our mid-January cruise. I was in at midnight and done by 12:03. Now I have to stay up again in a few days to get the MDAS bookings...sigh.
I stayed up until midnight last night to get the MDAS bookings for our cruise. At 11:59PM, they were not available to book. At midnight when I refreshed they were all listed as sold out. At first I thought perhaps they all went to concierge guests, but I kept checking periodically. They continued to show as sold out until sometime between 9:30 and 10:00 this morning, when they suddenly became available to book (which I did). So who knows if they will pop up at midnight for future cruises or whether people will just have to guess/keep checking.

Thanks for the head's up. The official 30 days is tomorrow night into Wednesday. I'll post on my success/failures.

Maybe your cruise is the first one of the season?

@gatordoc

Happy to report that I was able to book MDAS meet and greet right at midnight last night as DCL indicated. The app wouldn't work though (spinner of death), so I had to get up and log on the computer. I still got the event I wanted at the time I wanted.

Just an fyi, we sailed on the fantasy dec. 9-16. We had a pat of 12:15. We arrived at port about 11:30/11:45 because our car service showed up early to our hotel. We planned to wait for at least a half hour but they put us in the line to enter the building with the 11:45 group. We were on the ship before 12:15. Also, something to note was that we had the champagne tasting scheduled for 3:00 that day. They changed it when we boarded to 2:30 because of the muster drill.

It's great you were able to board early; however, I would caution against others assuming that would also happen to them. They will sometimes let you in a line for an earlier PAT if things are moving well, but it's no guarantee. We've also heard people say they had to wait for their PAT to be let in.

I'm glad it worked out for you, I'm just noting for others that they shouldn't bank on that. PAT is truly the time you should arrive at port (and yes I know things happen).
