Hello!

It’s been a while since we have cruised Disney and I can’t remember what happens when you arrive at the port on DCL transfers. Do they look after your luggage or do we have to pick it up?

Also, can you bring on more than one carry on per person?

I have done on line check in and you used to have to print everything and bring it to check in. Is this no longer the case?

My granddaughter would like to attend the princess meet and greet and unfortunately, we booked too late to get tickets. Will there be any chance at guest services upon arrival? We don’t get to the port until 12.

Lastly, is there a way to find out if you are at a table on your own or with others prior to cruising?

Thank you!

1 - You do not have to handle your luggage once you leave it at the porter before boarding the bus. It will be brought to your stateroom. Make sure you have a tag on each one.

2- they do not limit carry-ons. The only rule enforced is that it must fit in the x-ray machine, which is quite large.

3- You no longer need to print anything. We just show up with our passports and they retrieve our reservation, both at the shuttle and the terminal.

4- Go to guests services the second you board. They hold back tickets.

5- You can find out once you board, by going to the dining assignments location indicated in the Navigator. If you wish to have a private table, you should request it now by calling DCL. It is always a request, not a guarantee.

I know they hold some meet and greet tickets back for when you get on the ship. I think if you go straight to guest services when you get on you should be ok.

My understanding is to just ask when you get on or talk to your head server the first night.

As Marc D said above, there is no limit to the number of permitted carry-on bags. Do be aware that rooms may not be ready until 1 pm or later, so if you board soon after you arrive at the port, you will need to transport all of your carry-ons until the room is ready.

Just make sure that you can handle all the carry-ons you are bringing on - yours and those in your party who cannot carry theirs (I have my own opinions on that...if you can't carry it, you shouldn't be bringing it) or who will whine and refuse to. I've been stuck behind people trying to figure out how to deal with the multiple carryons per person their family brought and then suddenly no one could/would carry their own once on board.

Thank you so much for such quick responses. I know cabins aren’t ready until after 1:30 or so.

And I won’t be bringing so many carryons that I can’t carry them. Just didn’t remember if only one was allowed like on planes or if a second was fine.

Thanks again!!!
