I've seen "3 and Under" and "Under 3" listed in various places as the porta crib age for a 5th person in the moderate resorts. We are a family of 5 (kids ages 11, 9 and 2 currently). If we arrive in WDW after our dd turns 3, are we still "allowed" to put her in a porta crib in a moderate resort? I'm thinking this should be our call, based on dd's size and sleeping habits at home (ie; if she's accustomed to sleeping in a crib at home, why would we put her on a daybed in a hotel room?) But, from reading here, it seems that there is some prohibition about not having more than 4 in most rooms. (Count me in with those that wish there were more options for families of more than four). What do you think, would we get in some sort of trouble for having a 3yo in a porta crib?
Also, do you prefer to bring your own, or request one at the resort?
