We are staying at PORS, on one of our non park days after MNSSHP we would like to sleep in and go to a nice sit down breakfast, does Boatrights no llonger do this? What would be some other options for us....anything in DTD that does breakfasts?

Boatwrights no longer offers sit down b'fast... DTD does not have sit down b'fast that i can think of, but Wolfgang Puck Express has a great CS b'fast that feels like a sit-down (because you order at a counter, but they serve you your food)... great use of a CS credit if you are on the DDP.

Other options would be resort hotels that do offer sit-down b'fasts... our faves are 'Ohana at the Poly (take bus to MK, take monorail to Poly)... Chef Mickey's at Contemporary... and although we are not fans, Cape May at the Beach Club (take bus to DHS and boat to BC)... another place that gets good b'fast reviews is Kouzzina at the B'walk (same thing, bus to DHS, boat to B'walk)...

Enjoy :flower:

My recommendations would be:

Character buffet - 1900PF at the GF (bus to MK, launch to GF).
Non-character buffet - Boma (bus to AK, then bus to AKL).
Non-buffet - kind of cheating, but The Wave at CR has both a regular TS menu and a buffet line. You can do either one with a TS credit.

Of the 3 my fave is Boma. And you can spend some time sightseeing at the resort and with the animals, too; slower-paced activities for a non-park day.

While it's not at DTD, I would suggest the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. They have a nice buffet spread.

My mouth is already watering for breakfast at the Captain's Grille. This may be becoming a new family Disney tradition, eating breakfast on check-in day at the Captain's Grille! We all love the food. I particularly like the eggs benedict! But I get the buffet instead of getting it off the menu. There are so many good samplings on that buffet. Here, see for yourself...

The fruit is my first stop!! The pineapple reminds me of eating pineapple at Castaway Cay!!

The little parfait cups use to be disgusting, but they switched to apple flavored and it was pretty good.

Next up, the casseroles and eggs benedict!

There are Mickey waffles, but we are not fans. I know, gasp!

There is hot cereal and fixings for it!

There is smoked salmon, bagels, cream cheese, etc.

Is your mouth watering too?

We really like Olivia's at Key West Resort just a short drive from your resort.

Lots of options and some southern breakfast items as well.

If you don't have a car, then I recommend Kona Cafe at Poly. Again, great options, service and food! You can take the disney bus to the Magic Kingdom and take the monorail over to the Poly.

I miss the breakfast at Boatrights - it was great!

See you already have lots of suggestions another favorite of ours is Tusker House in AK Donald safari and starting December 4 think it is will be at lunch so could do a brunch.:cool1: we have had to drop Chef Mickeys as food and service was just :scared1: we used to eat there one meal every trip for years and three years ago just had to stop.. Wave has good breakfast as well...also Whispering Canyons at WL...family style or off menu.:thumbsup2 Boatwright stopped breakfast long time ago. another is Kona's grill for breakfast but no characters is in the Poly:banana: to get to Wl go to MK and get on the boat at the ramps and it will take you to WL and is also beautiful place to look and walk around ...
