Ill be there in December for a solo trip. Haven't stayed at either before. Please help me decide.

I've done POFQ as a solo. It's my favorite for that kind of a trip. It's a smaller resort that is very navigable as a single (solitary) woman. The amenities are all very close, no matter what building you stay in . Very helpful CMs. And Beingets!

I think it really depends on what type of atmosphere you enjoy. POFQ is lovely. Beautiful grounds, boat to Disney Springs (I'm assuming it will be running), but buses to all parks. Swan is very nice, but definitely not Disney-immersed. Comfortable beds, some great restaurants and, the biggest perk, IMHO, is its proximity to DHS and EP. It's also very nice to walk around the Boardwalk and enjoy the restaurants the EP resorts have to offer. If you want more of a Disney-immersive experience, I would probably do POFQ. If you would rather be closer to DHS and EP, I would do the Swan.

It's opening October 28th, But booking started yesterday.

ohhhh I didn’t know that! I’m booked for CBR for Feb 2022, but I do love POFQ - tempting to switch. I want to be on the skyliner I think tho -hmmmm

I love POFQ but the Swan is a much nicer property, IMO. It also has a nicer pool area - which I enjoy on solo trips because I find that I can cover a lot of ground in a shorter time period when it’s just me. Like others have said, being able to walk to both Epcot & HS and the proximity to so many other dining options is the winner to me.

I agree that the walking is nice. Swan has the most comfortable beds, too. Kimonos for amazing sushi! An amazing Grotto pool (POFQ pool is more kiddie) and a dynamite pool bar. I remember swinging by POFQ on Magical Express and seeing their bus packed full of people and I felt so grateful not to have to deal with that.

Thanks guys. I decided on the Swan because of the location. I'll plan on swinging by PORFQ on my resort hopping day to check it out and eat at Sassagoula
