We will be staying at POR in June (standard non smoking room). What would be a good room request (bayou section) to be convenient to food court, buses, and main pool?

Close to the pool, main building, bus stops and food court - might be a touch busy around them but the CM I spoke to at CRO stayed in building #14 and recommended it - I had same criteria as you. The very good Unofficial Guide to Disneyworld 2003 recommends #18 highly (just to the North of #14)

Thanks
Jason

I have stayed in both Buildings 14 and 15. Building 14 is the best. You're close to everything.

Last time I checked 18 was a smoking optional building, don't know if that's changed recently. ~:D~

Thanks for all of the info! We can't wait to go, the resort is so beautiful and peaceful. We have stayed at POR in the mansion section but never the bayou section. Thanks again.

Hi we will also be there in June . The 15 -21 maybe we will meet up with you..

we have requested building 14 or 15 ... 1st floor

WE ARE STAYING AT POR STARTING THIS SUNDAY. I HAVE HEARD THAT WE SHOULD REQUEST A CORNER ROOM. WHAT DOES A CORNER ROOM HAVE THAT AN INTERIOR ROOM DOESN'T? IS IT THAT MUCH BETTER THAN AN INTERIOR ROOM? WE HAVE 5 AND I THINK THE BAYOU IS WHERE WE HAVE TO STAY.

ALSO, WE WANT A ROOM THAT IS QUIET, BUT NEAR THINGS SUCH AS POOL. WHAT BUILDING DO YOU SUGGEST?

A corner room has 2 windows, the others have only one. Even though the room sizes are the same, the 2 windows seem to make the room look larger, and for me the more Florida sunlight the better. ~:D~
