POR-what to request

Staying at POR in March. What area of the hotel should we request when we do online check in? Somewhere close to the lobby would be nice. Would that be close to a pool too?

Have your u checked out a map of the resort? What type room have you reserved? A room that is close to the lobby won't be close to a pool. There are preferred rooms in bldg 14...Alligator Bayou...that are very close to the food court and main bus stop. But, that's a special booking category.
There are quiet pools spread around the resort, with the main, themed pool on Ole Man Island. No rooms on the island....everyone has to cross a bridge to get to that pool. I would check out a map, with the room category you've booked in mind.
