We are talking a large family vacation to Disney in sept of 2017. It will be 12 people - 6 adults and 6 kids. My husband and I and kids (10,7, 3, and 3) and my sister and her husband and kids (10 and 5), and then my dad and my younger sister.
We had discussed OKW in a 3 bedroom villa but my dad would prefer separate hotel rooms instead of all being together. So we started looking at POR in a preferred room so we could do 5 in my room and put one of my kids with my sister so have 5 in her room and then my dad and younger sister could each have a bed without sharing with my kids. But after looking at the pictures of room in POR AB it just seems so plain. Would POFQ be a better option and list 2 of the kids in my dads room? My dad will be spending more time at the resort while all the kids go to the parks but he doesn't get around very quickly at age 75 so he won't be exploring much.
My family has stayed at ASM, CBR (which we didn't like bc it was so spread out!), 2 rooms at CSR, BC, AKL, and CR.
So is POR AB really as plain as it seems in the pictures? Any other suggestions? A value resort is not something we are interested in.
