We have our FTP booked for the ASmo, but my husband is seriously debating moving up to a moderate(WL is a stretch but there's still a very small possiblity) So my question is if he does decided he wants to upgrade which would be the better choice, POR or CS? Or just basically which is the best choice of the three, POR, CS or ASmo?

This is our first family trip to WDW and my boys are 4.5 and almost 9.

TIA for any help

Good Morning! POR rooms seem impossible to book with the FTP and renovations. It's a wonderful resort though!! I have only been to the CS food court, but the resort definitely had a convention feel to it. The food was good...they seat you and of course expect a tip since they refill your drinks etc. (Atleast they did a few years back). But, I don't think young kids would like it there.
Last trip with two of the grandchildren, son and daughterinlaw we visited WLodge. The boys loved it. Go for it if possible or stay put and save a lot of money. Enjoy your vacation.:D

Hi Tina,

CSR is a great resort. It offers beautiful landscaping and fountains, an awesome main pool area and terrific transportation. Yes, CSR is a convention resort but so are many others like the Grand Floridian and the Contemporary. That doesn't bother me. You just have to take into consideration what you like. CSR is theme in a southwestern/Mexican theme so depending on what area of CA you live in, that may or may not appeal to you.

You can take a look at my website below for info and pictures of CSR.

Good luck deciding!
