POR to Poly Early Morning Transfers

We are staying at POR and have a 7:30 AM Priority Seating at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian (gotta have the TONGA TOAST!). We estimate about 30-45 minutes for transfers, but are the busses running at 6:45 am? Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to get to the Polynesian from POR at that time in the morning? FYI, our PS date is 12/3/02, after the Thanksgiving holiday rush.

I <i>think</i> they run special buses for the Character breakfasts ('Ohanas is right next door) - I'm gonna make a copy of this and pop it over on the Restaurant Board as well, where someone may be able to help from experience...failing that, you might also try posting on the Transportation Board.

Take the bus to the MK or the TTC. From the MK catch the monorail - it runs very early. From the TTC you could just walk over.

Regular park buses only start running <b>two</b> hours before park opening, therefore buses most likely won't start running till 7am unless there is EE that day. Not sure what time the express monorail starts, but I think it's only about half hour before park opening, I've been at the TTC when they've had the countdown for the first train and I've never been there very early. The resort monorail does start earlier (which is how people with PS's for Cindy's etc get there) though I'm not sure how much earlier, but atleast then you wouldn't have to get off at TTC and walk, as the monorail will stop at the Poly anyhow.

I think if you left by 7:00 - that time of the morning you'd be fine. Get to the MK or the TTC and then over to the Poly.

Like I said, ask. They like to change hours for things and are pretty ambiguous when you ask too far in advance.

Worst case scenario - have POR call you a cab. It wouldn't be outrageous. We took one from Contemporary to WL and it was a couple of dollars.
