I have 3 dc from 7 to 1yr. Is it easier to get around to parks by driving or bus? We will have a lightweight stroller in tow. I know we would have to fold it to get on the buses. Wondering how far the walk from the car through the parking lots would be. We will be going in Jan if that makes a difference.
Thanks,
Chris

My first trip ever to WDW is less than a month away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POR shares a bus with POFQ. In January the crowds should not be overwhelming, except if you are going during the Martin Luther King holiday period (1/16). That is a very crowded weekend. If you were visiting at a busy time, I'd say use the car because there is a good chance you would not get a seat on the bus. When we stayed at POR, we always caught the bus from just outside the lobby instead of at our own bus stop. That helped a lot.

Another thought is that with three little ones, a car might be easier for you. You can leave when you want without having to wait for transportation.....little ones can be impatient sometimes ;)

The only park you really don't want to drive to is the Magic Kingdom. Only Disney buses are allowed near the MK. All other traffic must go to the TTC. From there you may have to take the tram first, depending on how far back you are. Then you have to either boat or monorail over to the MK with the off-site guests. Definitely take the bus to the MK.

If you have a car available to you with 3 little ones use it! As a resort guest you do not have to pay for parking. After our first 2 days using the busses and waiting for a bus with seats, I decided we were driving. The fact that I got suckered into pre-buying gas for our rental van, I wanted it to go back on fumes too! LOL

The walks are not bad, but don't you know that for 3 days in a row we arrived to be parked at the very farest end of the line! The last day we were there I swore that if that is what it looked like again I was going to turn around and wait until it filled up closer. Luckily I didn't have to try it! LOL

My kids are 6 & 8 and it was the best thing. Another plus was that we kept things in the car until we needed them. We went to EPCOT later in the morning for lunch with the Princesses and stayed until the Illuminations so when it got dark I sent my dh out to the car to get jackets, which we didn't need earlier. Yes you can rent a locker but the car was convenient.

Have a great trip.
