POR Room question

Got ressies for POR Dec 21-24 - never stayed there before.

From what I have seen here on the boards looks like there
is not much difference in the rooms between the Bayou and the
Mansions.

Got a couple of questions for the all knowlegable DIS community.

Are the Bayou buildings 2 stories or 3?
Are the Mansion buildings 2 or 3 stories?
Are there elevators in three story buildings?

Can anybody comment whether the upper floors are better
or worse than ground floor rooms?

Hi,
We just got back last night from PO-Riverside. We have stayed in both areas at PO. This time we stayed in the Acadian House, which is one of the mansions. The mansions have 3 floors. They have elevators.
The bayous have two floors. I'm not sure about elevators in the bayous. We were on the first floor there.
We were on the third floor or Acadian House. The only problem I had with it was the water in the faucets never got very cold. It was always alittle warm.
It was a great place to stay. We have stayed in all the mansions, except Oak Manor. We loved them all.
You will love it there.

The AB buildings do not have elevators.

We've stayed in the AB buildings (14 and 15) on 3 different trips. We've been on both the 1st and 2nd floor. We are early risers and go to be relatively early, too. If you don't want to hear people walking by your room, you're better off on an upper floor. It was slightly quieter. I must say, though, that it wasn't loud at all and we didn't really notice it.

With my DD, I like to have a first floor so I don't have to remind her to use indoor feet and no stomping. I think we try to be mindful of our neighbors and have received the same courtesy from others at PO-R.
