POR room choice?

Iv'e booked for 2 weeks in sept at Port Orleans riverside. Looking at the pictures i think i would prefer a mansion room rather than the bayou rooms. is it possible to request this in advance from disney, and if so how?

We've requested the mansions on our booking and you can attempt to fax the hotel. Port Orleans Riverside 407-934-6000 Fax - 407-934-5777. Last time dw just asked when checking in.

The resort managers really discourage faxing requests anymore -- actually they have for a couple of years. You can just call and have your requests added to your reservation. I usually call 2-3 weeks before our arrival. I don't always make requests; but, so far, they've all been honored.
