POR - Request refrigerator before we arrive? Coffeemaker, too? Own beverages @ pool?

We're staying at POR end of March/beg. of April. Just wondering if you should request a refrigerator before you arrive? Should we bring our own coffeemaker? Also, can you bring your own beverages to the pool areas? Not sure if we'll invest in the mugs.

Yes, request fridge before arrival. You could possibly request it upon arrival, but not sure if you would get one seeing at this is peak season. You can call housekeeping for a coffee maker. You can bring your own drinks to the pool. I would highly recommend the mugs though...you can refill at the pool and the food court, a great savings.

You can request a coffee maker from housekeeping, but you need to bring cups, filters and coffee. We brought out own drinks to the pool area - no problem. We brought hard plastic washable cups for hot and cold beverages with lids. This way we used them for hot coffee and then travel cups to use at the pool.
We brougth a material cooler with us to keep in the room. It collapsed so it fit in our suitcase just fine. I think refrigerators are about 10.00 a day. Good Luck deciding what to do.
