POR Question

I just called CRO to add a child to my reservation at POR. We have 2 adults and 2 children in one room and I called to add one more child. We have two rooms booked, one with 3 and one with 4. The CM said that it really didn't matter as we had two rooms booked with a total of 7 people. He said you could only have 4 in a room and we were under that total. I thought that at POR you could have 5 in a room (2A, 3C). I also thought you had to have 5 in your room to be guaranteed a room in AB section with a trundle. Should I call back and insist that the additional child be added? Was the CM just too lazy to change my reservation? He said he would have to redo the entire reservation to add the extra child.

I would call back and talk to a different CM. Tell them your situation, and I'm sure that they'll either help you, or explain the reasons why it can't be done a little more clearly. (the only reason why they won't put you into a trundle bed room that I can think of is if the child you are adding is over the age of 9)

Not only that, but the extra child will need a room key/ID card. That's part of why they always ask for the name and age of each person in the room. If you want to take advantage of EMH, that child will need the room card (assuming s/he isn't under 3).

We've stayed at PO-R several times. Usually it is just me and my DD. On all visits except one we've been assigned to AB and got a trundle bed. We didn't need it, but DD liked to put her dolls to bed there.
