POR, PORFQ or CBR

POR, PORFQ or CBR...which one is the best and why? We are a family of 3 with an 8yr old daughter and we are looking for a comfy and fun stay. I currently have reservations at POR. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

POR is a wonderful resort. Lots to do for the kids, and Ol' Man Island is great too. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the three resorts you mentioned.

My family stayed at POR in early December, 2001. POFQ was closed when we were there, due to 9/11. We absolutely loved staying there and would do so again in a heartbeat. We stayed in Oak Manor, one of the mansions, on the first floor, near the quiet pool, laundry, etc. Very short walk to the food court and bus stops.

I'd do a mansion at POR. If you look at allearsnet.com, they have pictures of POFQ as well. If that appeals to you, POFQ sounds nice.

We really like CBR and find it to have a fun tropical atmosphere! highly recommend!

Last time we went we stayed at POR. We loved it. Our dd was 4 at the time. It is so quiet and peaceful. We realy enjoyed the quiet pool near our building. We went to the main pool only once during our stay, and didn't stay long when we did. The food court was good, and we enjoyed a nice breakfast at Boatwrights on our last day.

This time we are staying at POFQ. I am hoping that some of the outdoor atmosphere and beauty will be the same as POR. However, our children are 8 and 5 now and I think they will enjoy the pool and slide at POFQ. I also like the idea of the smaller size.
