POR-PO-FQ pool???

I think I read that we can pool hop between these two resorts? We are staying at POR but would like to goto the FQ pool. Can we do this? How far of a walk is it? Do they have towels at the pool or do we have to bring our own? One more, do they have any type of flotation safty type things for smaller kids??? Thanks

You can pool hop and you can even bring your POR refill mug with you. It's the same mug design. You can do this cause POR and POFQ are sister resort.
There are pool towels there and they have floaties there too by "jester." The walk is about 10-15 minute walk depending from which bldg are you coming from. For us, from the pool to the POR marina, it took us 12 minutes. You can even take the boat to POFQ and take the boat back.
Have fun at the Doubloon Lagoon!!

Thank you for the awnser. I did not know there was a boat between the resorts. That helps. Is it faster to walk or just take the boat to give our feet a rest? I can not wait, I am so excited!!!

It's probably faster to walk unless the boat is right there at the dock when you arrive. It's a lovely walk, too, down the Sassagoula river.

Considering the time that you are going... You might want to take the boat. It is too hot to walk! We walked it in June and it felt that we've been walking forever! Then we took the boat in July, it's so much easier, it may not be faster, but it was a relaxing ride!

Both pools are very nice. The one at PO-FQ has the serpent slide which is very attractive to younger children.

The pool at PO-R was recently refurbished and the slide rebuilt. It is more suited to older children.

We took the boat between the resorts when we pool hopped. Save those feet for the parks!
