Dh and I will be getting away for a weekend (2 nights) at the end of Jan.

We did CSR last year and fell in love!!! We would like to try POR. It's up for refurb soon, so does that mean the place is falling down?POR fans, tell me all the good stuff.

No its not falling down. They will probably do the same things that are being done to POFQ.
Rumor is, new carpet, new beds, fresh paint, ect. I don't think they will start with POR until POFQ is complete and that will be awhile yet. (But you never know)

Don't worry--you will love POR! We, too, were skeptical, but it is a great resort (so beautiful, too!) We liked it so much better than CSR. The renovations will just make this great resort even better!

I stayed at the POR in September. I stayed in Oak Manor and I loved it! The resort is beautiful, not run down at all. I am sure that you will enjoy your stay
