POR or POFQ???

We stayed at POFQ and LOVED it! We are staying again this september. It was very quite when we went last september, we had a second floor room over looking the garden which was fantastic. All of the other rooms at POFQ also looked good even the ones closest to the parking lot. Its a small enough resort where you are close to transportation with a 10 min. or less walk no matter where you are staying. The boat to DD is also very nice.

LOVED the Royal Guest Rooms and it will be difficult to go back and stay in a regular room.

Without knowing your group makeup and likes hard to pick which one. I enjoyed POFQ but I was on a trip with no resort focus. The room was great and I'd stay in it again but, I don't know if the resort is worth the cost. Just like I call AoA Value+ and CSR Moderate+ ......... I'd really call POFQ Moderate- just didn't have all I expected in a moderate. With them side by side and able to share all, I just don't understand the draw to POFQ.

We have stayed at both. I really loved POFQ! I love the "feel" of the resort, small size, and one bus stop....and the beignets!

We have three children and before my youngest was two, we stayed at POFQ. When she hit three, we stayed at POR...Alligator Bayou.

We are going back this fall, and I had visions of returning to POFQ...only to find out that my youngest really wants to stay in a royal room. Since we have never stayed in the part of POR, I decided we would try it.

I don't think you will be disappointed with either one, and wherever you end up, it is only a short walk/boat ride to the other resort!
