Our favorite is POR. Although CBR was nice too. But each has a different feel, as mentioned by a previous poster. I think the "Mansions" side of POR is definately that feel of being in the deep south. I think the Alligator Bayou section, at least for us, is the feeling of being in northwestern Michigan in the summer time, with lots of trees, landscaping, and the river. We've stayed in an area in NW Michigan, near Lake Michigan, and there is a river that runs through it, and POR has that same feel, which we love. We liked POR food court better than CBR (although the last time we stayed at CBR was about 6 or 7 years ago, POR was January of this year). Thought POR has more of a variety of food court items to choose from. We rented a car while staying at POR, which was very convenient. We did use the bus service to MK once, and it wasn't too long of a wait going or returning. We like that POR isn't a very long drive to Epcot, HS, and DTD. We really didn't have any problem in finding our way around the area, driving our rental car. Most of the road signs are prettly clearly marked, including arrows pointing towards the WDW attractions too. I don't think we would go back to WDW in the future and not rent a car. We don't like relying completely on the WDW bus service while there....a car just seems more convenient for us. So for us, we would recommend POR, and renting a car while there.
