POR or ASMo?

My niece, her husband and their 5 year old son will be going to WDW April 18-23. She can't decide between POR and ASMo. They've never been before. I've never stayed at POR before. Anyone out there that could give her some good advice. She's staying for five days and total package price difference between the two is only $248. Thanks for all the wonderful responses I know she'll get on this board!!

Hello - I have stayed at both and prefer POR. The resort is beautiful! Its like walking through a park. The food court is large and roomy with cartoons on the tv and a lego table to entertain the kids. The food court at ASMo was a little too crowded for me. Plus POR has a sit down restaurant and ASMo does not. The theme at ASMo might be a little more kid friendly but my 8 year old twins prefer POR. The pool is nicer with a slide and they like to rent the surrey bikes. The rooms at POR are larger also. Given a choice my family would choose POR hands down. Hope this helps.
