Next fall we will choosing this resort to stay at. We will be traveling in a group of 5 so need the trundle bed for one of our guests. Has anyone stayed at this resort and loved it. Comments anyone?

We love it. So far, it's our favorite resort. We've been five in a room with the trundle, and had a great time. We really didn't feel crowded. There were four adults, one 3 1/2 year old child, and enough luggage for all of us for 17 days, plus souvenirs!

The resort is beautiful, the landscaping is lovely, and there are lots of bunnies and birds hanging around.

A big plus is the boat to Downtown Disney. Even if you're not planning on doing any shopping there, the boat ride itself is great!

Which buildings have the trundle beds, or do all of them have this extra bonus? Also which are the buildings that are closest to everything, such as the laundry, pools, bus stops, eateries, etc.?

I loves me some POR, too! ;)

None of the buildings are really "close" to anything, but the shortest walk is probably from Magnolia Bend (That doesn't seem like the right name for the building now that I think of it... it's the one next to Acadian house?)

POR is absolutley hands down my favorite of the Moderate resorts. I have stayed at CBR, CSR and POR (not POFQ yet though  ), so I should say out of all of them I have stayed at POR is my favorite. My DBF and I love AB section, and really have no wish to stay in the masions. He and I are not flowery/fancy type people. Give me a home-made quilt, a wooden bed frame, and a remote control :rotfl2: and I'm happy. We are from TN and live quiet close to the Smokies. So we love the "cabin" feel of POR.

We are heading back there in 11 days and looking very forward to AB section (hopefully we will get it :goodvibes ).

OMG!!!! 11 days!!!! I didn't realize that. LOL, anyway, good luck and enjoy your decision in the end!!!

Only the Alligator Bayou section has the trundle beds. We just stayed there the end of September and LOVED :lovestruc POR! Here is a map for you to look at. Port Orleans Riverside Map

Building 14 is the closest to everything, but 18 and 27 would still be great. We were in 28 and it wasn't bad either. Honestly, I enjoyed the stroll. The landscaping is so beautiful in AB section. The rooms are very nice since they were just refurbished. You will have a wonderful time there, I'm sure! I can't wait to go back next year!

This was the only place we have ever had bad service. But our neighbors with 3 kids did enjoy their night there.

We stayed in building 14. Only minutes from the food court & the bus stop. Our 4 year old loved the Trundle bed. We loved the grounds, pool, everything. Try the Blackened Prime Rib Sandwich.
