POR opened up some more rooms!!

Yes, you can do that.. Something funny happened with my reservation anyways and we ended up having two somehow.. One for CBR and one for POP... I canceled the POP one....

Now I am having second thoughts about moving to POR, even though that is what my heart was set on. I showed DH a you tube of CBR this past weekend, before I knew POR opened up some more and he really loved it.. Showed him POR video last night and he just thinks that CBR is more "us" and thinks the kids would like it better bc of the pirate ship.. AHHH- This is so hard.

I want him to be happy so he will want to go back again, LOL..

Any thoughts on what is better for a young family with 2 small kids??

You know... I think 2 small kids will be very happy at CBR. The only reason I wasn't thrilled about it was the Full sized beds. But if you can get past that, I think small children would prefer CBR--especially with their "beach" and if you're in the pirate rooms, they'll love it.

If your husband wants CBR, then stay there. That's my 2 cents.

We had wanted POR ourselves (not the AB section, but the mansions), but the dates were are going didn't have free dining available so we switched to WL. We're done going back and forth and are happy with our choice.

Full size beds does kind of suck, lol, but I know we will be so tired, that we probably won't even notice.

I am thinking that whichever one we go with, we can always take some downtime, as we will have more this time, and check out the other one, that way we can see it for ourselves and decide for the next time!

I have two young boys, and they LOVED the pirate rooms at CBR last year, as well as the pool area. I haven't stayed at POR, so i can't speak for a comparison, but CBR was beautiful and the theming in the pirate rooms was over the top awesome!

Thank you for letting me know! We aren't doing the pirate rooms but I do think that the boys will LOVE the pirate play splash thing. It will be nice to kind of sit back and let them play instead of being " all up on them" in a big pool...

No more POR dates for the end of my trip today. Oh well, I'll just keep trying! We did have Nov.18-23, then last night I was able to add the 17th. Now I'm on a mission to add 3 more nights!

Can I ask you just one other question please lol!

If I see something I want online can I just book it in addition to my existing booking and then phone up (or online if I can) and cancel the original package?

We are in UK so time differences can be a pain for when phone lines are open. If I see a POR room I'd rather just snap it up incase I lost it while waiting for a CM however don't want to end up with two reservations and two deposits paid with one lost.

I did this when the discounts became available. I looked online after midnight EST when the discounts became available and they had the room I was wanting for a discount. Knowing how crazy the phones were going to be I just booked a new reservation and put down a $200 deposit on the new one. I called the next day and they were able to transfer all of the money that I paid on my initial reservation to my new reservation. The money was transferred the next day so it was very quick and painless.. As long as these changes are before the 45 day mark it wouldn't cost anything and you wouldn't lose anything (except for the cases where you purchased trip insurance on the initial reservation I "think". I believe I've read that if that was on the initial reservation that if you cancel it that would not be refunded).
