POR Move May 25-June2 Honeymoon

I just got a call from my AAA travel agent, and she said that the POR was being rehab, and we had to move to a different hotel. They offered a lateral move to the Coronado or Caribbean. I was not too thrilled with either of these choices. Then they offered an upgrade to either the AK or the Poly. AK was about appox. $25 more a night, and the Poly ended up being $33 more a night. SO I am paying $192 a night for 9 nights at the Poly Garden View for our Honeymoon. Is this comparable for everyone else who has had to move? I really don’t mind paying a little more, even though it is a little out of my budget for a better, more romantic hotel. What does everyone think? Any suggestions on room locations at the Poly? I have spent the last year planning this trip, now it seems I almost have to start over researching the Poly.

thats pretty much better then an ap rate. Thats a good deal. Just out of curiosty did u have a king bed room? Cause i have a king bed room at por and am hearing lately that there transferring people.

I had a King Room requested. Well see what happens. This is extremely weird how Disney is handling this. There are so many different stories going on. You call CRO, you'll get one thing. I called my travel agent got another story. Call POR, you'll hear something totally different. This is the most Un-Disney experience I have had so far.

I just wanted to let you know that if a king bed is VERY important to you the Poly doesn't have any only two queens in each room. The AKL would be able to provide a king bed though.

King Bed is not that important to us, we would actually perfer a queen. I'm just glad I got this all figured out.
