As one person stated, the answer to this is very subjective to your own family situation.
The families with older children are going to say that they were cramped.
The families with younger children are going to say that they had plenty of room.
We stayed at POR in June '06 with our four boys (youngest under 3). I wished we had more room, but overall it wasn't a problem. I would do it again. However, in a couple of years, we will be considered a family of six and we won't be able to do one room at POR.
Just think, it truly brings you "closer" as a family!
