Hello to all my fellow Disney nuts,

I am so pleased to have found this discussion board. ( I posted another message before this one but I dont know where it went)

Lets try this again, I am visiting our favorite place in November. 2 Adults, no kids, 7 nights at POR. I got what I believe to get a great rate of $118. per night. I was told at the time of booking that discount codes for Nov. should be coming out in Sept, maybe even August. For all who have gone to DW during this time, can you tell me what you think I might be paying? or what it was for Nov. 2002?

Also, after reading everyones trip reports, I think I want to split up my vac between two resorts. POR and a deluxe. What would make more sense to stay at POR first then Del., vice versa?

Thanks!!!!!!

Your rate is the same as I had in Nov. '01. Well, it is if your's doesn't include tax. I paid $130 for a waterview room. Maybe you can do better when codes come out. Keep watching. Yes, I would definitaly do the deluxe at the end of your visit!! I live the moderates, but I don't think I would love them as much if I stayed in them right after staying in a deluxe. We are thinking of doing this also this coming summer. We are booked at CBR and if a decent rate comes along, we may split our stay with a deluxe. Just can't make up my mind which one.

In November of 2001 we paid $89.00 for a moderate with an annual pass. I think it was the same in 2002, but not sure because we tried the Polynesian last year.

LAH,

Just saw your last question. I would choose the moderate first and save the deluxe for the end of your stay. Also, if one of you invests in an annual pass (not necessary until you see if you can get an AP rate) you can probably get a room at AKL or WL for less than the $118 you have now for a moderate. Either way, you'll have a great time because you'll be at the WORLD!

Thanks for the info everyone!!!!! Another question that I do have is what is the weather like in November? All of my past Disney trips have been in Feb.

Unpredictable is probably the best word to describe the weather in November, especially the closer you get to December. Our best weather trip was in the second week-low 80's during the day-low sixties at night. Later in the month we have had more variety. Sometimes shorts and t-shirt weather-sometimes we wish we had winter coats at night. But we're from Michigan so anything over 60 in November and December is a treat for us.

Just watch accuweather.com when your trip gets closer and you'll know what to expect and how to pack

Thanks for the tip!!!!!! I am going the second week in November (13th to 20th) Hopefully the weather will be good.

Hey LAH, I'm going to WDW Nov 14-22!! Last year I went Nov. 16-23 and it was COLD (great time to go though)!! I think you will get a better rate closer to Nov.! Have Fun

Curly Q,

Thanks for the info!!!! I guess it would be safe to say bring shorts as well as jeans and a jacket.

I am also looking into switching to a deluxe resort the second half of my trip. I am thinking Poly. CR or WL. I'm not sure if it is wise to wait and see what discount codes come out for those resorts or just book now and cross my fingers!!!
