POR in 1 days - Any Questions ??

I will be leaving for POR in 1 days on the 23 of jan. Cant wait. First I want to Thank everyone who has answered all of my silly questions. Does anyone have any questions about POR that they need investigated while I am down there. I will report back after my vacation

Well, mine's an easy one! Where did request to stay-bayou or mansions, 'cause we'll be there with you-getting in on that Saturday morning (the 24th)! We can't wait!!!

I requested AB 18. Close to everything but not in the foot traffic area. How about yourself?? Maybe we will run into each other. I will be traveling with my sis, and two nephs, ages 5 & 7.

Could you find out what section and when of shut down during Phase II of POR is suppose to be. (Phase I was the shut down of the French Quarters). We will be there on May 15. Then Cruise on May 16 to 20. Check-in to POR again on May 20 to 23.

Is all food sections opened now and if any section would be closed in May?

In the gift shop have more than one type of picture drawing of POR. When we were there last year they only had one and said "we should be getting more in".

We requested the mansion section (Magnolia Terrace, if possible) since we stayed at French Quarter last year and the bayou setup was similar, so we opted for something different this time. It will be my husband and I, my DS-12, my DD-8, and my newest DD-1 1/2. We'll keep an eye out for you !

If you're checking out the hot tub, could you let me know how it is? We have one at home, so we're spoiled, but the one last year at CBR stunk. It was too small, and it didn't have any jets. I'm hoping PORs hot tub is better.

I am so jealous of all the people that are getting ready to take off to their WDW vacations! I keep telling myself that the anticipation is half the fun.. Riiiiight

Anyway, we are suppose to be staying at POR in early June, and also keep hearing about possible renovations..Hopefully it will just be in stages rather than shutting the whole resort down. If you could perhaps just ask a friendly CM in passing, you may could get some inside iformation.??

Hey everyone! I'm heading to POR tonight! I leave work in about....30 min (the longest 30 min ever!), checking in late tonight. Request AB section.

Bringing my mom down for her birthday (Sat 24th)! 30 min of work, and then 2 hours of errands before i leave! Wahoo!!!!!
