Por food court

Heading back to the Riverside next week and was wondering if there have been any changes to the food court since we were there in 2000, like new menu items, also do they still have the slushes ? Thanks for any help.........

We just returned from POR last week and we were very dissapointed in the food court this time. They closed the section in the back that had the chicken dinner, ribs, caesar salads, etc. Only the pizza/pasta section and the hamburger/hotdog sections were open. The refrigerators had a very poor selection of pre-made salads and un-ripe fruit salads. We used to love this food court. The selection of food was very limited. I was also dissapointed because they don't have the slushes anymore. I heard people complaining to the CMs in the food court. Hopefully they'll listen and re-open the back section. We ate breakfast at Boatwrights one morning and it was very good.

The bakery had muffins, bagels, croissants, cheese danish, cherry danish and english muffins. The pizza/pasta counter had a breakfast sandwich on a bagel that was pretty good, a scrambled egg/potato and meat plate, and a western omlette plate. The other counter had pancakes. They still have the toaster. Breakfast seemed to be the same, it was just lunch and dinner that were lacking variety. I recommend Boatwrights for breakfast. It wasn't much more $ than the food court and it was very good.

I agree with PeterPam. There's nothing like breakfast at Boatwright's to start your day! It's hard for me to wait until December for that Crescent City French Toast!
