which bus stop is #1, on the map they indicate by direction, not number. My friend just came back from wdw and suggested I am close to bus stop #1...any opinions on this? Thanks in advance!

I don't have a map with me, but in July the bus went to the stop at the outside the lobby area first.

Bus stop outside lobby first then clockwise starting with the stop in alligator bayou working its way around to the mansions. It dropped off the opposite way sometimes the week we stayed at POR.

The stop outside the lobby is South, right? That's the one you want to be near, though, when we stayed there, POFQ was always the first picked up and the first dropped off.

Yes, the #1 stop is in front, it is called the South Depot. Bus goes to FQ first and then the 4 stops at POR. We were there 2 weeks ago and were very pleased with the bus service.

So glad to hear you were pleased with the bus service. We (my DH, 2DD 6 and 9 and DS2) are going for our first family Disney trip on Saturday. I am excited but nervous at the same time.

You didn't find the buses over-crowded? Did any pass you by because they were full?
