I was wondering if there is a coffee maker in the rooms at Port Orleans Riverside? IF so do they provide coffee and filters each day or do I need to bring my own. What size coffee pot is it (number os cups)?

Thanks,
Tammy

I was also wondering that. How about the coffee. I thought when I went in 1995 they had the packets of coffee but if we used them we would be charged. I am imagiing things or is that the way it is/was? I also remember they used to have the mugs in the room along with ponchos that if you used them you bought them (obviously).

They don't charge for coffee and I've been going for years and never seen mugs or ponchos in the rooms, at any resort.

GF once had refillable mugs in the room. I don't recall seeing ponchos.

Sometiems They don't always fully restock the coffee packets I've found. I usually bring some from home, but it does stink somethign awful, so be certian to double ziploc bag it if you bring some. Also, don't forge the filters. You may have to scrunch regular sized filters, but I've always made it work.

Were you there prior to 1995? I know for certain that they had the ponchos, and the mugs right there at the table in the hotel room.

LOL, you are not crazy. I remember that too. We stayed at CBR in 1998 and they had ponchos and refillable mugs in the rooms with a small card explaining the cost and that opening the packages would be accepting the charge to your room. And, we used them...it was Aug 98 and there was a huge tropical storm that was visiting the entire time we were there...never saw so much rain in my life, LOL.

My DH remembers going to CR in the late 80's- early 90's and there were ponchos in the room then.

Thank you..I was hoping someone else knew what I was talking about. I did feel like I was going crazy. :dance3:

I love coffee, but I cant stand the mud they have at the resorts. I try to bring maxwell house filter packs with me. And I use bottled water if the water at the resort smells. I will buy a small container of milk to avoid the nasty creamer packets or the ones that say they are half-n-half but require no refridge (they taste spoiled).

That gets me bye just fine until I totally jones for good coffee - then I treat myself to Kona :)
