POR bus service

I had read on the resort board that the bus service at POR has been very slow because they have closed some of the bus stops. Does anyone know if this is true? We have a reservation there for 7/26-8/4 and may change to CSR if bus service will be a problem. Thanks for your input!

Currently, only the South Depot and the West Depot are open. Bus service is based on demand, and runs every 15-20 minutes at both POR and CSR.

Do you know if they will be opening up the other stops soon? Does having some stops closed actually slow down service? You would think with less stops, you would get where you want to go quicker.

They just opened the West Depot this past weekend... as for the other stops, it all depends on when they open up the rest of the resort.

I called the resort directly the other day and was told that their goal is to have the entire resort open by July 19. So you should be good for your trip Mrs. Grumpy.

Thanks for the info. I was worried because I heard sections of the resort were closed. I feel much better knowing that they plan on having the whole resort open during our stay.

Yes, I am a woman and I've never been grumpy in my life!
