HELLO EVERYONE,

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TIME THE BUSES START RUNNING IN THE MORNING? I HAVE A RESSIE FOR MY BF AT RICHARD PETTYS SPEEDWAY AND WE NEED TO BE THERE BY 8:00AM. I WAS TOLD WE NEED TO TAKE THE BUS FROM POR TO TTC THEN CATCH A SHUTTLE FROM THERE TO THE SPEEDWAY.

THANKS

When we stayed at POR in November this would not have been possible unless it was early entry day for MK. I'd say your best bet would be to take a taxi. Bell services will tell you that taxi's are available within 5 minutes if you go to the front of the hotel. Leave a lot more time then that. We went down to get a taxi to the Gospel Brunch being held at 9:00AM that Sunday. We arrived at bell services and they called for a taxi about 8:10. At 8:50 we literally had to "fight" with to other gentleman for a taxi. They bell services were A LOT more concerned with getting guest to the airport then anywhere else.

The shuttles start running 30 minutes before the parks open, so your best bet may be to catch a taxi. Most parks don't open before 8 unless it is EE day! Check on it before you go. Plus, I was just there a few weeks ago and the buses were inconsistent, one time we waited 30 minutes for a MK bus, another they came one right after the other, so plan extra time for the bus!

Buses to the Magic Kingdom area begin service around 7:00am. Upon boarding that bus, let the driver know that you need to go to the TTC to pick up the Richard Petty shuttle. They should be able to drop you off no problem.
