POR Bounceback Question

Hi all, just got back from a stay at POR and booked for next fall while I was there. I was told that garden view was available but really wanted preferred. I was told it wasn't available, but checking the Disney site with the same dates it shows as available.

Is preferred "blocked" out due to the offer or am I missing something? Thanks!

They only discount rooms that they think won't sell out at full price. Preferred at POR are often excluded from offers. HTH!

You could call and check if there is availability for preferred. Since you have a room booked you can change your reservation. With any discount, the catch is availability. The resort has to have the room category available under the same discount for your specific dates. It never hurts to ask. All they can say is no.

Disney specials seems to always have types of rooms, resorts not included in their offers. Like a PP noted, it does not hurt to ask to see if you can pay extra to get a preferred room.

I was at POR last week and booked April 2015 on BB, room only. I had a garden room already booked but was only able to get the discount on a Royal Room, pool view or river view. I took the pool view, which saved me $200. Would have preferred a garden view or regular pool view but CM told me that was not available.

Oh wow, I just stayed at POR this week and totally forgot about bounce backs. What is the current bounce back room prices for next spring?
