POR boats????

Can anyone help me out? I am wondering if you rent any type of boat @ POR, can you take it to DTD and go shopping and then come back to the resort? Or do you have to stay around POR? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Hi- My DH & I rented a boat at POR three years ago (so I am not 100% sure if rules have changed) but they told us that we could go to the other resorts along the water route and visit but not to DTD.. I dont know if this makes a difference but you can use the transportation boats that bring you to DTD from POR & POFQ and use them ....Also it's free- if that makes a difference- instead of you spending extra money for the boat that you rent!

Yup, the have water mice and pontoon boats for rent. I believe the charge is by the hour or half hour. You can go to DD with them. We passed many people in boats when we took the POR boat to DD. I am not exactly how it works with staying and shopping. Not sure if you have to head back to the resort with boats at end of your paid time or if you can stay at DD awhile and then rent one for the return trip. Maybe someone can answer that part for you. We are going to POR in August, cannot wait! Enjoy!
